The rainy season is about to begin in Okinawa, where Mo is located. The humidity in the mornings and evenings is so bad that it's making it hard to get a good night's sleep.
Anyway, the sandals have arrived from post-production.
These sandals are also quite different from other sandals that have a strong presence.
"HUNT Sandals"
These are the sandals I was most looking forward to this season.
In the atelier at the exhibition venue, there were rows of Post Production's 25SS shoes lined up.
It was six months ago so my recollection is hazy, but it was probably at the front of the hallway.
These sandals stood out among the many other shoes. They looked incredibly heavy and had a leather texture I'd never seen before.
"What is this?!" I asked Kai-san.

"This time, we have created new HUNT Sandals.
But I combined the shapes of Gurkha sandals and monk straps. I also had "Predator," "Alien," and "Ghost in the Shell" in mind when I designed it.
Also, by making it a triple sole, I want people to use it as a shoe rather than a sandal. I made sandals that can be worn for about three seasons, although not until the middle of winter.

I see. Looking at the face from the front, it looks like an unknown creature. Something from a science fiction story.
This leather is also made from Himeji Kurozan leather, a traditional leather from Himeji.

It is a work of art made using two techniques: tanning techniques that bring out the charm of natural leather, and rigorous painting techniques that make the most of the beauty of the leather's grain surface.
Himeji Kurozan leather is made by fusing the traditional Japanese techniques of tanning and lacquering using domestic Japanese black cattle. Nicknamed the "black diamond of leather," Kurozan leather is so beautiful it looks like it's been dotted with countless tiny diamonds. It is also resistant to friction and is used for martial arts equipment such as kendo chests and armor, and is said to have been used for general-class armor during the Sengoku period.

If you look at the surface of the leather, you can see a gold-like glittering grain on the white fabric.
It has a rich expression and depth that you can't get with white leather alone.
It's a very unique design, and even the leather is distinctive.
There's no way this won't stand out.
It feels quite heavy when you hold it, but when you actually try them on, they are quite comfortable when you walk in them, contrary to the weight.
At the time, he was wearing tattered jeans, but the look of his feet changed completely, and they now looked very stylish.

At this point, we were already discussing what size to get. The order had already been decided.
When you look at the sandals alone they look bulky, but when you wear them they look neat and tidy.
I thought they were heavy when I first put them on, but I got used to them as I walked. I've been wearing them for three days in a row, and they haven't torn the skin on my feet, and they're doing no damage.
Even with such a distorted design, they managed to take the feet into consideration.
No, this design was created with the feet in mind!!!

When I tried them on for myself and a customer, I found that they were slightly large.
