Something that reminded me of past feelings

Hello

Mo

This is Takaesu.

Today is the Seaport Carnival.

It's a festival. I'm glad it's sunny today.

I wanted to go too.

Well, that's fine.

I wrote about it on Instagram but I thought I'd leave it here as well.

A story about clothes that reminded me of the time when I used to buy a ton of clothes.

You might think I post the same things over and over again, but it's been a while since I've wanted an outfit this much.
I'd like to write a bit here.
This may not be worth talking about if you're not interested.

In the past, if there was something I really wanted, I would buy it no matter what.
Whatever you use. LOL
I put it on right away and went home. I was in high spirits. I used that as an excuse to work hard.
He has that stupid side to him, not thinking about the consequences.

However, recently, after spending about 11 hours every day in a space surrounded by clothes, I feel like the excitement fades away about three hours after opening the cardboard box.

Take lots of photos to post on social media and the internet. Measure the size of the product and register it.

That's the job, and it's fun.
It's a different feeling than when I was happily looking for clothes.
But I still want everything in the store...
I'm an idiot. But I don't think I can do that.

However, the item that reawakened those fading feelings was this "tattered" hoodie.

I've always been really excited by these kinds of tattered clothes.
Stains, holes, scratches, smells, color, etc.
It's not about history or anything like that.
Who was wearing it, etc. I'll think about that later.

Anyway, I get really excited about things that I like the moment I see them.

This hoodie fulfilled all of those desires.
I said that it doesn't have a history, but this hoodie itself doesn't have a history. What I mean by "no history" is that there is a little bit of information about what the designer intended when making it, and it may have been inspired by vintage hoodies.
However, it's not like someone was wearing it and it became so worn out.

This processing was achieved by Japan's leading craftsmen, who used all their skills. To arrive at this appearance, they have to go through a number of completely unknown processes, such as drilling holes, applying dirt, washing to remove the color, drilling more holes, adjusting, washing again, etc. to arrive at this appearance.
It already has a vintage aura about it.

In reality, things that are used and washed repeatedly for decades become worn out.
It takes only a few months for the clothes to be transformed into valuable clothing known as BORO, thanks to the incredible skills of the craftsmen.

When I thought about it, I was very moved.
Looking at this hoodie, I first wondered where the hole came from.
I wonder if this hole in the pocket was made by a small child playing with triangular blocks or other hard toys in it... That's how it got there...

No one else was wearing it. I was the first person to wear it.

I even thought about that.

At the exhibition, I had to look at a variety of items, so I wasn't in the mood to go that far, but when I saw it hanging on the rack, I found myself staring at it.

It's scary. For me. For the technology.

Is there any other clothing that can make you think this much?

You may like it or dislike it, but you preserve the old, create new things, and generate value.
I think that's a really wonderful thing.

When I first started this job, there were times when I felt discouraged, but through making these clothes I realized once again what a wonderful job I was doing.

So, I'll buy it.

That's all I wanted to say. Lol

Sorry this is so long.

We hope to make this a store where you can find clothes that make you feel excited and thrilled, and sometimes even thrilled, so please come along.

That's all for now.

Oh. I'm going to buy this hoodie too, so there's only one size 2 left.

[POGGY×KOOKY ZOO] JUVENILE D.FACE SWEAT PARKA

That's all for this time.

thank you very much.
