We first met last summer. It was still hot and humid when I headed to the KOOKY ZOO exhibition, drenched in sweat. There was a doll and a small piece of clothing placed on a desk at the back of the venue. "What is this?" "Oh, I made this by enlarging it," said Suzuki. There, hanging was the exact same outfit as ⚪︎emon, enlarged by a light. It had a quintessential appearance with green lines. After hearing the details, Suzuki's playfulness and seriousness came across even more.
As the word MINIATURE (miniature model, reduced image) implies, the idea was inspired by denim salesmen running around with miniatures in their hands as materials for business negotiations, and then enlarged them to adult size. This is clothing for Lee Buddy Lee dolls from the 1950s. A Coca-Cola salesman's uniform was found, so it seemed interesting to enlarge it. In simple terms, it is about making clothes that humans don't wear so that they can wear them.
On the one hand, I thought it was interesting, but on the other hand, I thought it was silly. However, I felt that this silly thing was transformed into something unique and attractive by listening to the details.
Since there was no fabric to enlarge the size, they made the fabric from scratch and searched for large buttons on the front. Normally, a jacket would have one pocket on each side, but the sample did not include one, so they did not add one.
The same goes for the pants. They also have one big snap button and the rest are Velcro. To tell the truth, the sample didn't even have this snap button. Lol
As expected, tape alone was not strong enough. And the pockets. As expected, the pants have slit pockets on the sides. This was also a last resort, as the pants would have been almost completely functional without the pockets. They said they made the slits so they wouldn't be too visible. As we've heard so far. I hope this conveys their commitment to faithfully recreating the original.
The details are oddly balanced, almost like clothes for a doll. A large collar and large buttons. Raglan sleeves. The width is loose and the length is extremely short, giving it a very cute silhouette. However, it also has a modern feel to it.

My height is 174cm and 78kg, and my shoulders are large, but I like size B.
In the case of size A, the width is 58cm, so there is some room, but the length is quite short. The sleeves are also a little short.
It's a matter of personal preference, but size B is more roomy and has a rougher feel, which gives it the silhouette I like.
I think size A would look cute on women too.
Next are the pants.
These pants also have a slightly unusual silhouette. Think of a Kewpie doll. A protruding belly and short limbs. The waist is large to fit the belly, but the hips are a little small. In my case, even size A is roomy around the waist, but it's a little tight around the thighs. As you can see from the picture, size B is just right.

I love these distinctive Cookie Zoo outfits. I have a hard time deciding how to coordinate them. I have so much fun wearing these outfits and they lift my spirits.
