What I want now. 25AW①

Hello

This is Mo.

Today we'll be looking at outerwear, the "things I want right now."

It feels like the long, long summer is about to come to an end. Those of you who live outside of Okinawa may have already finished buying your outerwear.

It's 26 degrees in Okinawa and winter is just around the corner. I hope it gets cold soon. I still have the air conditioner on.

The hardest thing about running a clothing store in Okinawa is that winter never comes.

When you buy clothes, you think, "It's getting cold, so let's buy some outerwear or knitwear." I think there are very few people who buy futures.

But if there's something I absolutely want, I'll buy an outer layer even in the summer... That's how crazy I am.

Sorry, I got off topic.

Today, we'll be looking at outerwear items that people want right now.

[satou] "Half zip melton shirt" / sabi / size 1,2 / Wearing size 2 (174cm, 78kg)

This was the item I was most excited about at the Satou exhibition. A melton shirt with an uneven dyeing that evokes rust. It has an outstanding presence.

I looked at the details and the depth of the expression is amazing. It's a work of art.

The zipper at the belly button is also very nice. It has elements of work and military styles, and the buttons are ceramic buttons from Ehime Prefecture. The back also features a stitch called "semori" (back protection), which has been used since the Edo period. I think this is why it has a distinctly Japanese feel. The Melton fabric is just the right thickness, yet soft and light. To achieve this rusty texture, it is washed and dyed over and over again, and is made with great care.

It's simply cool even without all this trivia.

I want it. I know you're right, I should just buy it, but there's only one left. Even though it's not even winter yet, I'm sure there are probably people out there who are interested. I believe in them. Lol. So I think I'll hold off until the last minute.

I think half-zip shirts like this are a design that other brands have, but the ceramic buttons, back guard, and the pockets that jut out from the back are amazing. It's a simple design, but it's amazing how you can tell it's Satou just by looking at these details.

The deep slit in the back is also very sexy and nice.

So I was attracted to it at the time of the exhibition. Half zip melton shirt.

For bottoms, you can wear jeans, slacks, or a striking shirt, so it's best to keep the bottom simple.

When it gets colder, I hope you'll enjoy styling it by putting a hoodie or turtleneck underneath.

By the way, we also have kuro available.

Kuro. Cool.

The design combines the look of a CPO shirt with a work shirt.

If I had it, I would definitely wear it. It's also made of soft light melton, so you can wear a coat over it, making it a versatile piece.

Kuro is definitely cool too.

I want both...

However, I think I'll hold off until winter sets in. Please bring it home before I run out of patience.

I hope you'll come and see us in store or online.
