Based on children’s clothing from the 1950s.
The silhouette features a wide flare that gently widens toward the hem. It includes quirky back pockets and a faux double-hem finish.
To put it mildly, the construction is far from conventional. True to the meaning of “IMITATE” (meaning “copycat”), these are pants that look like trousers but aren’t—a counterfeit pair.
As the antithesis of “JUVENILE DENIM PANTS,” they are the garment that symbolizes KOOKY ZOO.
Why did we stock them?
Clothing isn’t a tool; it’s fashion. We felt these pants embodied that. Not for functionality,
but for the back pockets that honestly can’t hold a thing. A hem that looks double-layered but is simply folded over.
There’s so much to say about these pants that look so simple. That’s exactly what I love about them.
