The A-2 JACKET from the UN(I)FORM series is made from threads from uniforms actually worn by students, railway workers, police officers, and others, and is offered as a unique reinterpretation by the brand.
To put it simply, it is an item that is a "gakuran" that has been turned into an A-2 jacket.
The design is based on the A-2 flight jacket motif, with the details and sizing reinterpreted and refined to create a modern uniform.
Washable leather is used on the epaulettes and chest pocket for a subtle accent. The patch design on the left chest and left shoulder is made of UN(I)FORM JERSEY knitted with the same thread, which is used in a cutaway to create the shape of the patch.
The original zipper top features two holes and the brand logo is subtly engraved on the back. A uniform is something many people have worn. This is a proposal for a "new" feel that capitalizes on "nostalgia." It is a washable item that can be washed at home.
