This is a gingham check. Kanemasa-san has created a pattern that is perfect for the current mood.Moreover, it has a seersucker-like texture with a creped feel due to the wool content. Rather than a neat check, it has a rustic atmosphere with an irregular check pattern. This look is truly appealing.
It's not too clean, has a slightly vintage feel, and offers a unique check atmosphere.

Product Description
The "Balise" model, meaning "beacon" in French, features a size and details that blend workwear and dresswear, shirt and blouson. The versatile sizing, suitable for any occasion, serves as a guiding pattern for us. The check material has become a staple. We created the check pattern using a proprietary 36G jacquard machine. This new standard material, exclusive to us, offers high stretch, irresistible comfort once worn, crispness, luster, and easy care. By incorporating 20% wool yarn, we achieved an all-season functional fabric with a crisp feel, warmth retention, quick-drying properties, and a unique color expression. During dyeing, the heat applied causes the wool to shrink, creating a creped texture, resulting in a fascinating wool seersucker fabric. The details adopt those of a dress shirt, with all seams French-seamed and mother-of-pearl buttons. However, the sleeves, for instance, were designed with a casual blouson image. This unique shirt combines the material's crispness and luster, a perfectly balanced silhouette, and the fabric's dressy feel with the pattern. The brand logo is engraved on the back of the buttons.
